HOW LONG HAS LITTLE PEOPLE PLACE BEEN IN EXISTENCE? People Place Learning Center first opened their doors May the 2nd of 2005. And had been operating for over 20 years!
DO WE NEED TO BRING OUR OWN FOOD? The center provides nutritious and delicious meals at breakfast time (6:30 am - 9:00 am) lunchtime (11:30 am - 12:30 pm) This also includes a well rounded snack during after school hours (2:45 -4:30)

HOW OFTEN DO THE TEACHERS CLEAN THE TOYS? Teachers clean and sanitize toys and toy shelves daily during quiet/rest time, with an additional weekly deep cleaning that includes thorough toy sanitation and organization.

WHAT IS YOUR SAFETY POLICY FOR THE CLASSROOMS? Each month, the center conducts fire, tornado, and intruder drills, with additional practice sessions for each type of drill held throughout the week to ensure safety preparedness in all classrooms.
HOW DO THE TEACHERS CREATE THEIR LESSON PLANS? Teachers create lesson plans based on a center-wide theme, using materials provided such as craft supplies, books, and templates. Each plan is designed to support the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—while remaining flexible enough to meet the individual needs of every child.
HOW ARE TEACHERS TRAINED? Teachers are provided with training materials at the start of their journey with LPPLC and are required to complete mandated yearly learning hours. Each teacher is expected to continue their professional growth by maintaining ongoing education, earning their Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and obtaining a Certificate of Mastery—achieving the designation of Master Teacher.
DO YOU HAVE AN OPEN PARENT POLICY? Yes. Parents are welcome to visit and pick up their children at any time during the day. We do ask, however, that you provide advance notice to help minimize disruptions to the daily routine.
