Our Origin Story

Little People Place Learning Center first opened its doors on May 2, 2005.

The vision for our center was born out of both experience and passion. Our director had always dreamed of being either a teacher or a stay-at-home mom, spending each day close to her children. Opening a childcare learning center became the perfect way to combine those dreams—creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging place where not only her own children, but all children, could learn, grow, and feel loved.

From the very beginning, the mission was clear: to build a place where children feel safe, cared for, and inspired to learn. Our director envisioned a center that combined the warmth of a family environment with the structure and quality of professional early childhood education.

We set out to offer more than just childcare. We wanted to create a space where children could flourish socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually—through meaningful play, engaging learning opportunities, and experiences that honor each child’s unique pace of development.

Part of this vision has always included caring for the whole child. Nutritious, home-cooked meals have been a cornerstone of our program, fueling both body and mind while reinforcing our commitment to a loving, family-centered environment.

At its heart, Little People Place Learning Center is about family. For two decades, our goal has remained the same: to provide families with a safe, compassionate, and joyful place where children are celebrated as individuals and prepared for a lifetime of learning.
